Surveyor Hit By Car In Lakeland February 2020
News EventsAbraham Ira Remchuk died after being hit by an F-150 on Lakeland Highlands Road while performing survey work on February 10, 2020 in Lakeland, Florida as reported in The Ledger. Remchuk was a licensed professional surveyor and mapper.
Remchuk was hit by a 2006 Ford F-150 driven by Bryce Warneke. The Ledger reports that Remchuk was wearing an orange vest and was standing near surveying equipment but that there were no warning signs displayed in the area or any safety cones present in the roadway where the accident happened.
